Men Who Hate Women — Chapters 9 & 10

• Attendance: 14 (10 early birds, and 1 newcomer!)
• The icebreaker took us down memory lane: members guessed the theme songs for favourite shows and cartoons.
• Renée S. moderated, and Daenia hosted the discussion.
• We met at Hope Gardens in a newish spot — lots of vibes as usual.
• Our first-timer this week was Matthew, who fit right in!
• Most engaging question: #2 — “For those of us who have younger brothers, male cousins, or impressionable young men around us, what do you think our responsibility is towards their worldviews, particularly the way they view women and their possible involvement in the Manosphere?”
• Key takeaway: Men Who Hate Women by Laura Bates caused quite a stir in KBC. The book challenged beliefs, inspired research, deep reflections and led to many discussions and debates. We learned a lot and unlearned some things too.
