KBC Meeting #26 — Crime and Punishment, Part 2

Location: Peace Gardens, Hope Gardens · Attendance: 13

We started today’s meeting with an icebreaker led by our dedicated host, Rujay. Today we played charades and came to a draw. Lots of tip-of-the-tongue moments.

We had 7 early birds.

The discussion began at 10:32 AM, with Moken as our host and Matthew as our moderator. They did a great job. The most heated questions were 4 and 6, dealing with poverty as a shield and moral exceptionalism respectively.

Our discussion wrapped up at 11:50 AM, after which we decided by vote to continue with the book. Some deliberation was made on the optimal number of discussion questions but we rounded it off to 8. A reminder was also thrown out for the Induction Ceremony next week Friday — with specific emphasis placed on the need for punctuality: we start at 6 on the dot!!

To wrap up our 26th meeting we had pastries and took photos.
